Okay the waiting is over and I can now tell you all that my high pitch whine will be gracing the airwaves of Britain again from Monday April 20th.

The even better news is that many of my talented colleagues at the Sun will be joining me at our brand spanking new TV and radio studios at the Sun HQ.

That’s right we are bringing you Suntalk, the Home of Free Speech.

This is the station for you where you will not only get expert comment, controversy and loads of laughs but also the chance to interact and have your say and to say it how you want.

My live show will be on every morning between 10 and 1 but will be available to download (ask the kids) 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

All your favourites will be appearing form Deirdre, through Ally Ross, Trevor Kavanagh, Lisa Minot and Ken Gibson with Ian McGarry keeping you up to date with all the sports news as well as a host of star names from the world of sport, showbiz and politics.

I am delighted that the next Prime minister of this country David Cameron will be my first live guest. David will be taking an hour of your calls and e-mails form 10 on the launch day.

I’ve had loads of offers since my untimely exit from that other station but I have held out for this one as the thought of translating Britain’s greatest newspaper into a great radio station is a challenge I just couldn’t resist and I can’t wait to get behind that microphone again.

I want to thank you all for your support over the past few months and I hope you understand why I had to keep quiet about this project until now.
